Superconducting Quantum Circuits
The field of circuit Quantum Electrodynamics explores the interaction between artificial atoms (superconducting qubits) and microwave fields, and provides the foundation for quantum computers, quantum annealers and hybrid quantum technologies. In this webinar hosted by the OSA Quantum Computing and Communication Technical Group, Juan José García Ripoll of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) will provide an overview of the fundamental concepts in this field, from circuit quantization to the emergence of superconducting qubits and microwave photons, with a focus on how these enable the construction of today's quantum computers.

What You Will Learn:
• Fundamentals and applications of quantum computing with superconducting qubits

Who Should Attend:
• Undergraduate students
• Graduate students
• Postdoctoral Researchers
• Faculty
